Chobham Academy opened in September 2013 and is part of the highly successful federation of Harris academies. Our 3-18 academy is a world class educational legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Situated within the East Village complex, the academy serves the community newly established in 2,800 new homes, along with existing communities in Newham and Waltham Forest. In July 2015, Ofsted awarded Chobham Academy "Outstanding" across every category in its first inspection.
We are looking for an Exam Invigilator who is passionate about education and has a flair for working with young people. We look for resources who are resilient, highly driven and self motivated, who will go the extra mile to ensure that students achieve beyond their own expectations.
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure a calm environment, giving candidates confidence in the process.
- Make sure the right candidates are in the right places.
- Give out vital information such as start and finish times.
- Ensure candidates have all the materials and information needed for each exam.
- Manage student behavior and requests throughout the exam.
- Ensure that the exam is conducted in strict accordance with JCQ guidelines, and that any suspected malpractice is logged with the examinations officer.
